What Are The Ingredients Used In Prima Weight Loss Pills?

Unlike many other dietary supplements on the market today, Prima Weight Loss pills contain only a few ingredients, including EGCG. These ingredients have been shown to increase metabolism and burn fat.

Let us have a look at these ingredients below:

Green Tea Extract

Green tea extract has been shown to increase metabolism and burn fat. Green tea contains catechins which are antioxidants that have anti-inflammatory properties. A study published in the journal Obesity showed that obese women who drank green tea had lower levels of inflammatory markers than non-green tea drinkers.

The researchers suggest that this could be due to the fact that green tea reduces insulin sensitivity. Insulin sensitivity refers to how well your body uses blood sugar for energy. When you consume foods with high amounts of carbohydrates, your pancreas releases insulin into your bloodstream. Insulin helps transport glucose from your blood into your cells, where it can be used as fuel.

Insulin sensitivity decreases when you gain weight. In other words, if you are overweight, your body becomes less sensitive to insulin. Therefore, your body needs more insulin to move glucose into your cells.

In addition, drinking green tea may reduce appetite by increasing serotonin production. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that affects mood and feelings of pleasure.

Garcinia Cambogia

This fruit is native to Southeast Asia and grows naturally in Indonesia and Malaysia. It's known as the “hanging fruit” because its rind resembles a human skull.

It tastes similar to pumpkin and tastes best when eaten raw. You can buy garcinia powder online or find it in supplement stores.

Garcinia contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA), an active ingredient that inhibits citrate lyase, an enzyme responsible for converting carbs into fats. HCA also suppresses lipogenesis, which is the formation of fatty acids inside our bodies.

Research shows that garcinia may suppress appetite and prevent weight gain. A study published in Cell Metabolism found that mice fed a high-fat diet supplemented with garcinia lost up to 25% of their body weight over four weeks compared to mice on a normal diet.

L-Arginine

L-arginine is an amino acid that plays a role in nitric oxide synthesis. Nitric oxide is a chemical messenger produced in the body that relaxes muscles and dilates blood vessels.

Nitric oxide is important for maintaining healthy blood pressure and blood flow throughout the body.

A study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that people who took L-arginine supplements experienced greater reductions in abdominal obesity after just two months. The participants were given either 1 gram per day or 2 grams per day of L-arginine. Both groups saw significant improvements in waist circumference, but those taking 2 grams per day experienced even better results.

L-Carnitine

Amino acids play a key role in cellular respiration. Carnitine is one such amino acid. It transports long-chain fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane so that they can enter the mitochondria and be burned as fuel.

Studies show that carnitine supplementation increases fat burning and improves exercise performance. The recommended dose of carnitine is 500 mg twice daily.

A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial published in the journal Obesity showed that obese women who took 3 grams of L-carnitine per day for 12 weeks lost significantly more weight than those taking a placebo.

Gelatin

Gelatin is derived from collagen, a protein that makes up connective tissue. Collagen supports skin elasticity and keeps joints flexible.

When we age, our skin loses some of its strength and elasticity. Gelatin supplements help restore these qualities. Studies show that gelatin promotes wound healing and protects against radiation damage.

Gelatin also boosts the immune system and fights infection.

How To Lose Weight Fast?

Losing weight takes time, but it doesn't have to take forever. With the right plan, you can start losing weight today!

Now let us look at a few weight loss tips in detail:

Drink Caffeine (If You're Not Sensitive To It)

Coffee, and caffeine are stimulants that can boost your metabolism. Caffeine stimulates adrenaline release, which causes your heart rate to rise. Adrenaline is released when we exercise, so caffeine can make us feel like we have just finished a workout.

Caffeine can also block adenosine receptors, which makes you feel happier and calmer. Adenosine receptors are located throughout the brain and body. They play a role in regulating sleep patterns and controlling hunger.

Studies show that coffee consumption may decrease appetite. One study shows that people who drink two cups of coffee daily lose about 6 percent of their body weight within six months. Another study found that men who drank three cups of coffee daily were able to lose 10 pounds in 12 weeks.

Add Fiber to Your Diet

Fiber has many health benefits. It helps regulate blood sugar levels and reduces cholesterol. Fiber also slows down digestion and absorption of nutrients from food. This means that fiber fills you up longer and keeps you satisfied.

The American Heart Association recommends eating 30 grams of fiber per day for women and 38 grams for men. Eating too much fiber can cause constipation, though. So be sure to eat enough fruits and vegetables to get your recommended amount of fiber.

Eat More Protein

Protein is essential for building muscle mass. Muscle burns calories faster than fat, so having more muscle will help you burn more calories overall.

Protein also boosts your immune system and improves your mood. Studies suggest that protein intake may increase satiety and reduce cravings for sweets.

Try a High-Protein Breakfast

A high-protein breakfast can help you lose weight. The best way to do this is by choosing whole grains such as oatmeal or brown rice. Whole grains are rich in fiber and low in carbohydrates.

Whole grains also provide slow-digesting carbs that keep you full for hours. Try adding nuts, seeds, eggs, and cheese to your morning meal.

Cut Out Alcohol

Alcohol contains empty calories and can lead to overeating later on. Drinking one alcoholic beverage a day increases your risk of obesity by 20 percent.

It's important to note that drinking alcohol does not necessarily mean consuming an entire bottle of wine or beer. Moderate alcohol consumption is defined as no more than 2 drinks per day for women and 3 drinks per day for men.

Exercise Regularly

Regular physical activity can help you maintain a healthy weight. Exercise releases endorphins, natural painkillers that supply you a sense of well-being. Endorphins also have a positive effect on your mood.

You don't need to spend hours exercising every day to reap these benefits. Just 15 minutes of moderate exercise each day can help you achieve your fitness goals.

Walking is a great option because it doesn't require special equipment. Start with five days a week and gradually build up to seven days a week.

Final Words

Prima weight loss capsules are only made of natural substances sourced from trusted places to provide you with a high-quality product. The ingredients used in these capsules can result in weight reduction in the human body.

Many users have reported success losing weight with Prima weight loss capsules and tackling various health problems. If you want to experience successful weight loss without exposing your body to harmful stimulants, these pills are the right choice for you.

Killexams : Norwegian Prima's design in a class of its own

Pointy stars hang ever so slightly from the ceiling in the Penrose Atrium, forming a constellation shining down on the central hub of the new Norwegian Prima. It is here that sleepy passengers order coffee, consult with the crew about excursions or pull up a seat at one of two bars, one with bourbon hues and an extensive menu of whiskeys, to sip before a show at the theater.

The Whiskey Bar, on the upper level of the Penrose Atrium, features dozens of whiskeys ranging from $13 to $495 a glass.

The atrium is one the many places where the use of space, color and design on the Prima is an upgrade from previous Norwegian Cruise Line vessels. In an intentional push to elevate the brand toward a premium product, the line's first entry in the six-ship Prima class resembles a larger-scale version of the casual elegance one might expect from its sister lines, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

That shouldn't be a surprise. The same firm used to design the Prima, Studio Dado, based in Coral Gables, Fla., has created spaces for all three Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brands, all while under the influence of CEO Frank Del Rio.

As the mastermind behind the Prima's ambience, Del Rio wanted to fight the notion that cruise ships should feel big and loud like Las Vegas, he said at the CruiseWorld conference in Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 4. Instead, he wanted the ship to feel like a high-end boutique hotel.

Exclusive Haven space gets elevated aboard the Norwegian Prima

One of the biggest differences between the Norwegian Prima and its predecessors in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet is in the Haven.

The restaurants, rooms and gathering spaces are sleek, modern and arranged to make guests forget they are on vacation with more than 3,000 other passengers. The design does this by creating many smaller spaces on the ship through walkways that draw people in or out of a central meeting place. This was inspired by the paths in Venice that draw people to St. Mark's Square, said Yohandel Ruiz, founding partner of Studio Dado, during the ship's inaugural sailing from Iceland.

"The city unfolds from the plaza," he said, and conversely, "all these paths lead back to the atrium."

The ship uses a palette of colors that Ruiz said have "aged well with history" and bring a level of sophistication to the ship. For instance, in the atrium, from where Ruiz was speaking, oversize couches subtly mirror the natural color of sand while the chairs contrast with a dark sea-blue.

Studio Dado designed the atrium, a half-dozen specialty restaurants, a pair of bars, the Observation Lounge, the staterooms and the new Galaxy Pavilion futuristic game center.

Ruiz said he wanted the tone of the Prima to blend innovation and immersion. For example, in Le Bistro, Norwegian's staple specialty French restaurant, tables surround chandeliers that are at eye level to ensure there is no bad seat. The spaces are meant to capture attention, which can be shared online. "We live in a world of Instagrammable moments," Ruiz said.

The ship is full of unique selfie locations, such as the elevators with a wall of tiny lights that look like they continue infinitely or a square, full-length mirror in the walk-up to the ship's 10-deck-long drop slide

The top place for selfies is at the Prima Speedway, the line's racetrack that on this ship extends three decks, said Todd Hamilton, the line's senior vice president of sales, who tracks which spaces have gotten the most social media attention. Another popular spot is standing on a see-through walkway eight decks above the ocean churning wildly below.

"When you're going 20 knots, it's actually pretty crazy because the waves are beating against the ship," he said.

Killexams : Is the new Norwegian Prima cruise ship worth it? Here’s what to know

Editor’s note: Megan duBois was a guest of Norwegian Cruise Line which paid for the trip. All opinions expressed below are entirely hers and were not subject to review by Norwegian Cruise Line.

I love cruise vacations. Not only do they allow me time to disconnect from social media, work and everything else that compels me to stare at my phone, but they also allow me to see parts of the world I may have never gone to through independent travel.

My most accurate cruise was on Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Prima, and it was my first time sailing with the company. Like many cruisers, I have some brand loyalty to certain cruise lines, so I was excited to try Norwegian to see what it was like.

I sailed on the Prima for three nights, with one stop at Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay, as our only port day. It may not be the biggest cruise ship you ever step onto but the Prima is beautiful, with a three-floor atrium where lively bars invite guests to sit down and relax, stunning staterooms that have some of the biggest at-sea bathrooms I’ve ever seen, and unique "attractions" that will draw in families cruising with teens. But there were also a few drawbacks that may hinder the trip for some travelers.

Keep practicing for the highs and lows of Norwegian Cruise Line's new Prima ship.

Norwegian Prima's staterooms are small but exude class

After I was given my room assignment, I discovered I was staying in a family balcony—which is meant to sleep four people—but I found that hard to imagine. The room was 231 square feet, with a balcony that measured 45 square feet. The sleeping configuration of the room included two lower beds that could be converted into one queen-size bed and a sofa that could be converted into a double sofa bed.

A view of a two-bed stateroom configuration onboard the Norwegian Prima. The beds being so close to the outdoor patio area made getting out there a bit of a chore.

Megan duBois

The bed configuration was awkward

The beds on the Prima were comfortable and I appreciated that the lower beds were raised off the ground, allowing me to roll empty suitcases underneath them while sailing. Since I brought a guest with me on the trip, the main beds were divided into two lower beds with a bedside table between them.

While I would normally appreciate this, the bed closest to the balcony door blocked most of the walkway to the balcony and made it difficult to actually get out the door. If you’re traveling with people you don’t mind sharing a bed with, I would suggest asking for the queen bed configuration to avoid this.

The bathroom onboard the Norwegian Prima offered more space and amenities than most cruise ship bathrooms.

The bathroom onboard the Norwegian Prima offered more space and amenities than most cruise ship bathrooms.

Megan duBois

The bathroom was my favorite part of the room

Bathrooms on cruise ships are notoriously small, but I found the one in my stateroom to be the best part of my lodging. It was spacious, with a single sink and ample counter space. Above the counter was a set of small shelves where I placed things like medicine and headbands. Underneath the sink was a large cubby for storage, and next to the sink was a small drawer. The shower was one of the biggest onboard a cruise ship that I've seen, and it featured a sliding glass door in lieu of a traditional shower curtain, which was a nice upgrade.

Room storage was limited

There were only two main closets in my stateroom, which were narrow and the doors often got caught on hangers that were just slightly too big for the space. There was a third storage space next to the closets with three shelves, but only one could actually be used because pillows and blankets for the pull-out couch were stored on the other two shelves.

The main vanity in the living area of the room had one small drawer for storage, but it was partially taken up by a safety guide. While I did like the room overall, thinking that it somehow slept four comfortably seemed like a stretch. Even if I was traveling in a group of two adults and two kids, I think the storage in the room would be too limited and someone would inevitably have to live out of their suitcase during the journey.

Norwegian Prima's dining options are virtually limitless

One of my favorite things to do on a cruise is try all the different dining options, especially if there’s a restaurant onboard that's aligned with a celebrity chef or a generally unique dining experience. Luckily for me, there were plenty of such dining experiences on the Norwegian Prima. These are the one’s I experienced over the three days I was sailing:

Surfside Cafe & Grill (included)

Surfside Cafe & Grill is the main buffet on the Norwegian Prima. Here, I tried breakfast and lunch, though it’s also open for dinner. Breakfast was a casual affair with all of the expected basics, like a bagel bar, fresh fruit, an omelet station and various hot dishes. Lunch was a better option to me since the menu changed each day. The salad bar, with a variety of cold salads that went beyond basic greens, was always fun to explore. There was also a carving station at lunch, which offered a delicious flank steak one afternoon.

Hudson’s and The Commodore Room (included)

Hudson’s and The Commodore Room are the two main dining rooms on the Norwegian Prima. Hudson’s, which provides a 270-degree panoramic view of the ocean, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. At breakfast, I highly recommend the steak and eggs, which I ordered thinking I would get a marginal cruise-ship cut but was very impressed with a tender, juicy steak that was cooked to perfection.

The Commodore Room is the second main dining room on the ship and is much smaller and more intimate than Hudson’s. The restaurant is only open for dinner and is close to the steakhouse and a bar, making it a hot spot starting at 5:30 p.m., when the doors open.

The one downfall I found with the main dining rooms is that the menu stays the same throughout every cruise, with only one chef’s special dish changing each night. When I sailed, the specials included prime rib and lamb chops. On longer sailings, I would suggest dining here twice, otherwise, the menu may become repetitive.

The Local Bar & Grill (included)

The Local Bar & Grill is Prima's take on a neighborhood sports bar at sea. While on our voyage, this became a hot spot for those looking to watch NFL games or catch other televised sporting events. As expected, the selection here is bar fare, but it did serve some of the best sweet Thai chili chicken wings I’ve ever had—at home or on a cruise ship.

The Norwegian Prima's Indulge food hall is one of the most creative dining spaces on the ship. Diners use tablets to order from an array of themed stations and await as each course is delivered.

Indulge Food Hall (included)

One of the most creative dining options on the Norwegian Prima is Indulge Food Hall. The bustling restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the menu at each meal service is different. Around the restaurant, there are tables with tablets, which are used to order food from a variety of “stations,” like an Indian station where there are two tandoori ovens firing chicken tikka and fresh garlicky naan, a noodle station that makes everything from pad Thai to spaetzle, and a Latin station that makes delightful tuna tostadas. When the food was ready, a waiter brought it to our table to enjoy, sometimes just a plate at a time, but it was always fun to see what was coming next.

If you eat here, don’t make the mistake I did my first time—if you sit at the bar of any station, you can only order food from that station. To avoid this, find a table that’s not attached to any single station and enjoy the full experience.

Onda by Scarpetta (specialty dining)

The only specialty dining restaurant I was able to try during my trip was Onda by Scarpetta, which is priced a la carte. When I originally went to find the restaurant before the ship set sail I loved how bright and light the room felt, but when I arrived for my reservation, I was a bit let down to find the restaurant turned into a moody space where my plate needed to be in just the right spot on my table to be visible.

My guest and I shared two appetizers, two dishes of pasta, a pizza that our server insisted we try and two desserts. Overall, the dinner was just OK, but with a total cost of $120 for what we ordered, I would recommend trying one of the other specialty restaurants, or heading to the main dining room, which I found had better service and more flavorful food.

Finding the best bar onboard the Norwegian Prima

After trying every bar on the ship, I found a few bars that were worth a second stop, a few that future cruisers should seek out and one that became my favorite spot to have a drink.

Belvedere Bar

Between The Commodore Room and Cagney’s Steakhouse is where you will find the Belvedere Bar. While at-the-bar seating is limited, this area is more of a lounge, with plenty of tables and plush seating to enjoy. The bar specializes in hand-crafted cocktails that are decanted into single-serve bottles that bartenders then use to pour the drinks as they're ordered. The bottles are all pre-measured, making it quick to get your libation, but rest assured they are strong, well-balanced and delicious. The Belvedere Bar also makes for a great spot for happy hour since it’s located between two restaurants.

Pools and outdoor space on the Norwegian Prima

There are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy aboard the Norwegian Prima. On the pool deck, there is a small pool flanked by two infinity hot tubs, along with the entrance to the tidal wave water slide. Adults will want to head to Infinity Beach, which boasts plenty of lounge chairs, first-come, first-served day beds, and infinity pools that overlook the ocean. If you want a more private, adults-only experience, head to Vibe Beach Club, where loungers, a full bar and hot tubs await. This paid experience is $229 pre-cruise and while on board is $249 for a seven-night sailing.

If you don’t want to take a dip in the pool, there are still some outdoor seating areas, each with a distinct vibe. The Ocean Walk is a glass-bottomed walkway around the ship that lets you see straight into the waters below. La Terraza boasts lounge chairs and curved couches, where you can sit and read a book, take a nap or enjoy a cocktail.

The Prima's onboard entertainment is a highlight

During my three-night sailing, I saw two of the ship's signature shows that are going to be performed onboard the Prima. On the first night, "The Price is Right Live" was performed. Yes, audience members were selected at random to “come on down” and make bids for a chance to spin the big wheel and win real prizes, including a new car.

On the second night, I enjoyed "Summer: The Donna Summer Musical" in the main theater of the ship. The show was spellbinding, with iconic songs that everyone in the audience seemed to know and wanted to dance along to in their seat. Immediately after the musical, the theater was transformed into a dance club. This transformation did take about 20 minutes, and guests were clamoring to get to the dance floor and not stay bunched up together in the theater's small “holding area” while the changeover happened.

Other Norwegian Prima activities: Go-karting, putting, gaming and escaping

There are activities for every person in the family on the ship. A major highlight is the Prima Speedway, the first three-level go-kart track at sea. For $15 per person per session, you can whiz around the 1,375-foot-long, 14-turn, ocean-facing track to see who really has the need for speed. Planning to spend a lot of time on the track? Guests can purchase an unlimited-ride package for $199 for the duration of their cruise. When signing up to ride, note that you will be weighed—which can feel slightly intrusive and embarrassing if you’re near the 265-pound weight limit—and may end up not being able to ride. The go-kart seats are also small, so even if you're under the weight threshold and have a reservation you may not be able to fit comfortably in the seat.

For golf fans, Tee Time, ($10 per person, per game) is the onboard interactive mini-golf course that overlooks the ocean. After playing myself, I’m not sure I'd say it’s worth the price unless you’re really good at putting, since the last hole features a chance to win a free cruise.

Inside, on deck 17, the Galaxy Pavilion welcomes cruisers to play a variety of virtual reality games and figure out how to get out of the onboard escape room. I loved the entrance to the space, as a sort of virtual portal that reminded me of something out of "Wreck-It Ralph." When I walked into the Galaxy Pavilion on our sea day and on our port day it was overly full so I wasn't able to try any games, and at the time of this sailing the escape room was not yet ready for guests to experience.

Among the Norwegian Prima's many entertainment options is an onboard escape room.

Christian Santiago/Norwegian Cruise Line

Playing any of the games or breaking out of the escape room is going to add to the overall cost of your cruise. For $29 per person, you can have one hour of unlimited play; for $49 you can have an entire day of unlimited play; or for $199 you can have an unlimited amount of play for the duration of a cruise. The escape room is $15 per person.

If you’re traveling with friends or a larger family, The Bull’s Eye is a fun take on darts that's set up like Topgolf, where you rent a bay for a certain amount of time and play games at your own pace. The price is $40 for 50 minutes, for up to six people. This may be good if you’re splitting the cost between friends, otherwise, there are plenty of free things to do on the ship.

The Stadium is where guests will find complimentary tabletop shuffleboard, pickleball, subsoccer and beer pong, the latter of which, sadly, does not include real beer. The Prima's pickleball court is sure to be a hot spot during cruises, especially since it has great ocean views.

What could make the trip onboard Norwegian Prima better?

After experiencing most of what the Norwegian Prima has to offer, I made some notes about what I saw as a few shortcomings on this otherwise impressive ship.

My main gripe is that the onboard venues feel too small. The ship’s capacity is 3,100 guests at double occupancy. Venues like Syd Norman’s Pour House, the Galaxy Pavilion and even the family pool deck were exceptionally small for a ship of this capacity. I did make my way into Syd Norman’s one evening, about 30 minutes before the band was set to hit the stage, only to find the venue was already full. If you plan to catch live music here with some drinks, be sure to grab a table early.

I also found the ship to not be very size-inclusive with some of its venues and activities. I’m on the smaller end of being a mid-sized woman (mid-size is generally considered anywhere from size 10-16), and found the theater seats to be slightly too small. When it was my turn to sign up for the go-kart track with my guest, I felt judged by the crew member handling the sign-ups who looked at us and seemed to guess we wouldn't fit into the 400-pound capacity for a double-rider car. We didn’t, which was disappointing, since I imagine many doubles won’t fit into that weight limit, but the judgmental feelings I got from the employee were unwelcome regardless.

I could have ridden the go-kart alone, since I am below the 265-pound weight limit for single riders, but the singles cars were completely reserved for the entire sailing before dinner on the first day. While this entire experience may be challenging for some guests, including those who are self-conscious about their size, if you really want to ride you should try to sign up, but know you may not be able to due to size and weight restrictions.

My final thoughts on the Norwegian Prima

Overall, I thought the Norwegian Prima was a fun ship with plenty for adults and older children to do, even if you don't want to pay extra for any activities during your voyage. The included dining options were exceptional, but next time I would try a different specialty dining option. The entertainment onboard was also fun, but it mostly catered to adults over 40, especially in the main theater.

The design of the ship felt modern and upscale, more like a luxury ocean liner than a family-friendly cruise ship, which I enjoyed. With five more ships coming out in the Prima Class, including the Norwegian Viva set to debut in 2023, guests are sure to get their fill of thrills, relaxation and delicious food onboard the Prima and beyond.

Killexams : New class, new ship Norwegian Prima brings new-look NCL to Port Canaveral

SOMEWHERE IN THE ATLANTIC — Since ships are often referred to with feminine pronouns, it’s fitting Norwegian Cruise Line gave its newest vessel in its newest class the feminine version of the Italian name for “first.”

The Norwegian Prima is the first of what has been known for years as the Leonardo class of ships, six vessels planned to debut in the next six years that all look to redefine what NCL offers to its customers.

“We set out to to create something that didn’t look like every other cruise ship out there,” said NCL President and CEO Harry Sommer during a media cruise out of Miami in November, saying the goal was to create almost a “boutique-hotel feel” with “lots of smaller, more intimate space, lots of beautiful design.”

The line has been showing off the ship among several ports since its August debut making stops in New York, Galveston and most recently Miami, but its first extended homeport will be Port Canaveral. It will start Caribbean voyages over the winter season beginning Dec. 11.

“I would call Port Canaveral an underserved market, because usually we only have one ship there in the winter,” Sommer said. Prima will be joining Norwegian Escape marking the first time the line has home ported two ships in Central Florida. “So this is really about where are the opportunities existing ... We hope to be able to have two ships there every winter forever. That’s certainly our goal.”

Prima kicks off with one five-night sailing before shifting to mostly seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries with stops in Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Ocho Rio, Jamaica; and its private island Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas through March 26.

Smaller than the last several ships for the line, it’s a combination of familiar touches found on vessels like the Norwegian Escape, Bliss and Encore, but a breakaway from others, particularly in design.

The 142,500-gross-ton ship has a 3,100-passenger capacity based on double occupancy compared to its last ship Encore’s 169,116 gross tons and 3,998-passenger capacity.

A pat of that is switching shipbuilders from German yard Meyer Werft to Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, which NCL’s Simon Murray, in charge of guest experience and innovation, said he was still getting the feel of.

“I’ll describe it this way. You know when you start dating someone, you get to know them ... You’re still trying to work out what she likes, and she’s working out what I like,” he said. “It’s a different way to work. It’s a different structure and build of the ship.”

Norwegian Prima has not let go completely of the cruise line’s identity. It makes the fourth time it has gone all in on a go-kart track, this one spanning three decks with room for 15 cars to race at one time, and amenities that set it apart.

“Let’s say you know, granny and granddad may not want to race in the go kart tracks — well they do as well, but if they wanted to watch their children and grandchildren, we created a viewing platform on Deck 20 that puts you right in the middle of the track,” Murray said.

He also noted they could shoot lasers at the go-karts to supply them an extra boost of speed. The rides cost $15 each, but a new $20 offering lets riders try and test their speed solo on the track for three laps and compete for a trophy and cash prize by the end of the week.

The line also offers an unlimited track package for $199, which Murray said has been popular with some of the younger customers.

The rest of the options on board do set Prima apart from the line’s older ships. It’s the first time NCL has offered dry-slide options, similar to what travelers find on Royal’s Oasis-class vessels.

For NCL, though, there’s one on each side of the ship dropping 10 decks, each twisting in a tight corkscrew drop that takes just seconds. One features a bomb-bay door drop, and each put you in what Murray said looked a bit like a body bag.

“Literally the floor opens and you drop from Deck 18 down to Deck 8 and people scream — that’s the best part of it. It’s the big 6-foot-6 guy screaming like a girl,” Murray said.

For its wet slide offering, Prima has only one option — a quick three-deck tube ride called the “Tidal Wave” that has riders flying up and down the side of a half-pipe, a thrilling run with a quick 30-second turnaround on riders that should prove popular.

The rest of the top-deck active area features everything from mini-golf to foosball to pickle ball with alcoves amid the shaded protection under the go-kart track.

It’s not the only area that should attract the youthful clientele as in the interior of the ship, NCL is offering up Galaxy Pavilion, making its third appearance fleetwide, with virtual reality rides and an escape room.

For those looking for the line’s signature entertainment, the ship once again dips into its Broadway bag, this time playing up the 1970s and embracing disco with “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.”

For those who aren’t down with disco, though, and have ever spent a day home sick from school, they’re in for a treat with the crowd-pleasing The Price Is Right Live game show. Members of the crowd are called up on stage for a modified version of the game bidding on products and playing mainstays like the “Race Game” and “Plinko.”

Smaller venues for entertainment on board cater to comedy, in the form of The Improv at Sea themed to the science of comedy, and the return of Syd Norman’s Pour House, which has among its offerings a Fleetwood Mac homage called “Rumours.”

Another big change to the ship is its atrium. Designed by Miami-based Studio DADO, which also handled dozens of other spaces on board, it is a departure from those found on any other ship with three decks in an assymetrical layout designed to invite cruisers to hang around.

“We wanted those components that you find in an urban space — shopping, eating, drinking — that make people gather, because we noticed on ships we had worked on in the past, while the atrium may be monumental, no one stayed there,” said the studio’s founding partner Greg Walton. “This atrium is never empty. It’s constantly full of people.”

Another big change for the ship is the effort given to Deck 8, which features wide-open spaces with wraparound views of the sea that proved popular for those strolling around the entirety of the ship, including a pair of see-through walkways to the open ocean below.

It’s also home to a pair of smaller infinity pools and dozens of loungers, areas with outdoor seating for some of the specialty dining, as well as one of the most popular dining venues, a unique alternative to the buffet called Indulge Food Hall.

“You can order from 11 different food concepts,” Sommer said. “You go to this iPad screen, you know? I want some tapas and I want some Indian and I want rotisserie chicken and I want a little barbecue — boom, boom, boom, order, and it shows up like two minutes later.”

The complimentary option is among nearly 30 dining and bar venues on board, maintaining the line’s freestyle dining approach, and committing to smaller spaces.

“I think in a post-COVID, the idea of having lots of smaller spaces, a much higher space ratio, less crowds everywhere, just more personal space all around is something that resonates really well with our customers,” Sommer said.

Norwegian Cruise Line will no longer introduce one Prima-class ship a year, citing supply-chain delays affecting the yet-to-be-named third and fourth ships.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings CFO Mark Kempa said the delay is "strictly 100% as a result of shipyard delays from supply-chain constraints." The third and fourth Prima ships are currently delayed by four to five months each, he said.

NCL was to release one Prima class ship a year from 2022 until 2027, beginning with the Prima, which debuted in August, and the Norwegian Viva, due out in August 2023. NCL plans six ships in the class.

According to NCLH documents, the company no longer expects to release a ship in 2024. The revised schedule calls for one ship in 2025, two ships in 2026 and one ship in 2027.

In the company's Q3 earnings report, NCLH pointed to the impact of Covid-19 on shipyards, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and other macroeconomic events for causing delays in expected ship deliveries. In August, NCL pushed back the Norwegian Viva's 2023 debut, citing supply-chain problems.

The company also reported that it may want to modify its newbuilds in the future to make them more environmentally sustainable, which would result in additional delays "which may be prolonged."

Unlike other large cruise lines, NCL resisted the urge to power their first two Prima-class ships with liquified natural gas. The company has begun testing biofuel blends and has signed an agreement with MAN Energy Solutions in October to explore the feasibility of retrofitting existing engines to work off both diesel and methanol.

Killexams : See the top 10 family activities on Norwegian Cruise Line's new Prima ship: go-karts, a VR arcade, and lots of food

Norwegian Cruise Line has "always been a family oriented" brand, the company said in October during the inaugural sailing of its newest ship, the Norwegian Prima.

Brittany Chang/Insider

And the 3,100-guest Prima definitely reflects this sentiment.

Brittany Chang/Insider

But not all ships have the Prima's kid-friendly go-kart track, virtual reality arcade, or mini golf course.

Brittany Chang/Insider

It feels like the new Norwegian cruise ship has endless pockets of activities designed to appeal to multi-generational families …

Brittany Chang/Insider

… so here are the 10 best ones aboard the one-of-a-kind Prima that's now operating revenue sailings.

Brittany Chang/Insider

Family members who aren't interested in driving can watch from the viewing deck instead.

Brittany Chang/Insider

Travelers with an insatiable "need for speed" can also opt for the "you and the track" option …

Brittany Chang/Insider

… which gives individual drivers access to an empty track without other racers, allowing them to hit over 30-miles-per-hour.

Brittany Chang/Insider

Source: Norwegian Cruise Line

But a thrilling drive at sea isn't free: Go-karts start at $15 per driver.

Brittany Chang/Insider

2. Picky eaters will have plenty of dining options, including the Indulge Food Hall.

Brittany Chang/Insider

The ship has a buffet, a primary dining venue, specialty restaurants, and a food hall …

Brittany Chang/Insider

… which means travelers likely won't need to eat a repeat meal unless they want to.

Brittany Chang/Insider

Children who can't get enough of their tech will be delighted to see the tableside touchpad ordering system at the indoor-outdoor food hall …

Brittany Chang/Insider

… which allows diners to order endless plates from the venue's 11 restaurant concepts.

Brittany Chang/Insider

3. Children and parents looking for a thrill can fly down the ship's inner tube water slide, the Wave.

Brittany Chang/Insider

4. But not all modern ships have the Norwegian Prima's free-fall dry slides.

Brittany Chang/Insider

These heart-pounding slides drop thrill-seeking victims 10 decks in a few seconds.

Brittany Chang/Insider

And competitive families can also race each other down two of the three slides.

Brittany Chang/Insider

5. If a child isn't old enough for the water or dry slide, they can spend time at the children's Aqua Park.

Brittany Chang/Insider

6. The traditional pinball machine arcades are a relic of the past: The Prima has a virtual reality-based arcade instead.

Brittany Chang/Insider

The Galaxy Pavilion is the ship's go-to destination for virtual entertainment.

Brittany Chang/Insider

Here, families can put on VR headsets to race each other in the driving simulator, defeat aliens in a shooter game, or take a realistic ride on a roller coaster.

Brittany Chang/Insider

It's also home to the Prima's escape rooms at sea.

Brittany Chang/Insider

But like the go-karts, the Galaxy Pavilion isn't free.

Brittany Chang/Insider

The gaming center is $8 a la carte or $29 for one hour, while the escape room is $15 per person.

Brittany Chang/Insider

7. Mini golfing is as fun at sea as it is on land.

Brittany Chang/Insider

The Prima's flashy $10 per person mini golf course includes bright lights ...

Brittany Chang/Insider

… kitschy decor …

Brittany Chang/Insider

... and a hole where golfers get their pictures taken.

Brittany Chang/Insider

While children make their rounds on the mini golf course, parents can squeeze in a few rounds of darts.

Brittany Chang/Insider

The golf course is adjacent to a series of open-aired darts "rooms" with dart-tracking technology to can calculate its players' scores.

Brittany Chang/Insider

8. The nighttime shows on the Prima are surprisingly engaging.

Brittany Chang/Insider

Travelers of all ages will likely enjoy the modern tap dancing and beat boxing "Noise Boys" show …

Brittany Chang/Insider

… and "The Price is Right Live," an almost perfect replica of the hit television show.

Brittany Chang/Insider

9. Families can compete in shuffleboard, ping pong …

Brittany Chang/Insider

… pickleball, and even beer pong at the outdoor Stadium, a hub of complimentary activities.

Brittany Chang/Insider

10. But if the younger travelers would rather spend their days at sea making new friends, parents can drop them off at the Splash Academy children's club. The one pictured below is on the Norwegian Encore.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Adults sailing on the Norwegian Prima will also have their own spaces like bars, a spa, and an adults-only lounge.

Brittany Chang/Insider

But with amenities like go-karts and free fall dry slides, Norwegian isn't hiding its goal of appealing to travelers of all ages, including children.

Brittany Chang/Insider

The Prima began operating revenue sailings in October. Looking ahead, rates for the ship's 2023 itineraries will start at $780 per person for a seven-day cruise from Orlando, Florida to the Caribbeans.

The U.S. premiere of the new play from Suzie Miller and starring the Killing Eve Emmy winner will open on April 23 at the Golden Theatre. Previews will begin on April 11.

“I cannot wait to continue the journey with Prima Facie on Broadway this coming spring. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine having the opportunity to play on Broadway with a story as unique and thought-provoking as this one,” Comer said in a statement. “I’m honored that a theatre as rich in history as the Golden Theatre will be home to it.”

Directed by Justin Martin and produced by Empire Street Productions, the story follows a young barrister named Tessa (Comer), who specializes in defendants accused of sexual assault. After climbing her way up from a working-class background, she’s now at the top of her game, but when Tessa personally experiences sexual assault, she must confront where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and morals diverge.

Comer’s West End debut, Prima Facie opened on April 27 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, running through June. It’s Golden Theatre run is a strictly limited 10-week engagement.

Previous creative team announcements include set and costume design by Miriam Buether, with Natasha Chivers serving as the lighting designer, Ben and Max Ringham as sound designers and Rebecca Lucy Taylor as composer. Video is by William Williams for Treatment Studio.

Hailing from Miller, a former human and children’s rights lawyer, the show will team during its limited run with two organizations — The Schools Consent Project and Everyone’s Invited — in a partnership that aims to help support education around and the support of sexual assault survivors.

Having already worked with the show’s West End production, The Schools Consent Project, a U.K.-based charity focused on educating young people on consent and sexual assault, will extend the organization’s outreach to U.S. schools. Everyone’s Invited is a digital safe place for survivors to anonymously share their stories, offering a sense of relief, catharsis and empowerment, along with a community and hope.

The production will also launch the Prima Facie Pro Bono Project, a low-price ticket lottery and rush policy for every performance, with special free ticket access to specific partner and community organizations.
